Correspondence/Distance education

Distance education describes a set of teaching and strategies (or education methods) that can be used to overcome spatial and temporal separation between educator and learners. These strategies or methods can be integrated into any education programme and - potentially - used in any combination with any other teaching and learning strategies in the provision of education.

PJR has been an accredited registrar since 1994; formal accreditation came in January 1995 by the ANAB (formerly RAB). PJR is accredited by ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB - formerly RAB), the Raad voor Accreditatie (RvA), the Japanese Accreditation Board (JAB), the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), the Brazilian National Institute of Metrology (INMETRO) and the Italian National System for Accreditation of Certification and Inspection Body (SINCERT).

PJR is fully accredited and in good standing with all of the agencies. The fact that PJR has achieved and maintained certification from all of these accrediting bodies means that our practices have satisfied the strict definition of quality established by the most exacting experts in the quality field.
